How is the Wedding shooting schedule typically like? And why?Our team will usually arrive 90 minutes before the groom's arrival, whether or not there is a Gate Crash. Below is a general timeline of the wedding day: Morning Schedule 6:00 AM – Photographer & Videographer Arrive We will capture as many preparation shots as possible, including: Wedding rings, gown, and bridal accessories Bride’s makeup and hair session Parents preparing for the day Bridesmaids getting ready 7:30 AM – Groom Arrives We will film the groom’s arrival, including: Car arrival and door-opening ceremony (usually by the bride’s younger sibling or relative) Exchange of oranges and ang bao Groom entourage shots 7:45 AM – Gate Crash Begins 💡 Tip: Choose a spacious area for the Gate Crash to ensure clear camera angles and an unobstructed view, especially for large bridal parties. 8:30 AM – Gate Crash Ends 💡 Tip: Ending early is beneficial as we can proceed directly to the outdoor shoot after fetching the bride. An earlier shoot means cooler weather and softer lighting, resulting in more comfortable conditions and better visuals. 8:45 AM – Fetch the Bride to the Car The bridal party should help move necessary items into the cars as efficiently as possible. 9:00 AM – Outdoor Photoshoot Begins 📷 The outdoor shoot only requires 30 minutes to an hour. Anything longer is unnecessary and may be tiring for the couple. A short, efficient shoot ensures we capture quality shots without draining energy before the rest of the day’s events. 10:00 AM – Arrive at Groom’s House for Tangyuan & Tea Ceremony We will first capture the mother or father preparing Tangyuan in the kitchen before they bring it to the couple. The tea ceremony follows, where the couple serves tea to elders and receives blessings. 11:00 AM – Leave Groom’s House & Head to Bride’s House for Tangyuan & Tea Ceremony Upon arrival, we will again capture the bride’s parents preparing Tangyuan before serving it to the couple. The tea ceremony at the bride’s house will take place, with the couple serving tea to elders and receiving blessings. Afternoon Schedule 11:30 AM / 12:00 PM – Depart for Venue (if Lunch Reception) If the wedding includes a lunch banquet, we will head to the venue for setup and pre-event coverage. 12:00 PM – Lunch Reception Coverage Begins (if applicable) Break Period (if Dinner Banquet) If the banquet is in the evening, we will take a break and head to our respective locations for rest. We will arrive 30 minutes before the night events begin. Evening Schedule 5:00 PM – Arrive at Venue for Solemnisation & Banquet Preparation We will capture: Venue décor and ballroom setup Couple and guests’ arrival Audio equipment setup and sound system checks 5:30 PM – Solemnisation Begins
